Super Kids Behavioural Consulting is a paediatric behaviour consultation service based in Sydney, who travel throughout the lower north shore and inner west to provide accessible home-based or in-centre Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventions to assist children from the ages of 18 months to 12 years.
We provide ongoing high-quality early intensive behaviour intervention for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities. We also offered specialist programs including toilet training, behavioural sleep solutions and short-term behaviour management consultations. All programs are neurodiverse-affirming and are individualised to the child, their needs and the needs of your family. Each program will be designed and delivered in a way that suits you!

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is based on the principles of learning which apply to all people, not just children with autism. It is a scientific approach to understanding behaviour. ABA refers to a set of principles that focus on how behaviours change, or are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. Every behaviour and skill that we all learn is a result of the same processes used in ABA!Â
When we first meet your child, we will use an assessment to identify your child’s current skills and skill deficits, and then develop an individualised set of programs to break down priority skills into smaller, easy to learn steps. This depends on the behaviour you are looking to change, the environment and how long this behaviour has already been occurring for. This is something that we will discuss during our initial conversation.
Super Kids is a mobile-based service that offers a variety of ways for you to get the help you need, including:
All programs are supervised by a Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) (to find out more about why this is important, who a CBA is and why a CBA must be supervising your child’s ABA program, read more here). All Super Kids programs are designed, implemented and supervised by a Behaviour Consultant and implemented by either Super Kids behaviour technicians or independent behaviour technicians that you hire. Depending on the program recommended for your child, your Behaviour Consultant will usually see your child weekly. This will include monthly team meetings, parent support sessions, behaviour technician training, daycare/school visits, programming, assessment and reports.
Yes. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will fund ABA services for children with ASD and other developmental disorders. Super Kids is not currently a registered NDIS provider, however, funding can still be used by clients who have plans that are self-managed or plan-managed. If your plan is not currently self-managed, you can request for this to be changed by contacting your NDIS coordinator.
At Super Kids, we can assist with helping you access NDIS funding. We will do this by completing initial assessments and reassessments, help with goal setting and implementing procedures to track your child’s progress towards their goals, to provide evidence that the service is effective in helping your child reach their NDIS goals.
ABA is based on the principles of learning which apply to all people, not just Autistic children. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis of autism to benefit from ABA. Many children with other developmental delays, such as global developmental delays and speech delays may require support in achieving their goals. Contact us to discuss your child’s unique needs and we can assist in determining if we are the right service provider for your child.
ABA programs often collaborate with other professionals like Occupational therapists, Speech Pathologists, teachers and educators to provide a consistent, team approach to your child’s learning and reduction of problem behaviours. If your child is receiving services from multiple service providers, it’s a good idea to speak to each of your professionals to identify if and how they collaborate with other services. Discussions via email, phone, or face-to-face meetings may be important to ensure consistency for your child, and to get the most out of the services they are receiving.
