ABA therapy that gives your child the best possible start

Behaviour Therapy (ABA)

At Super Kids, we work primarily in behavioural intervention, ABA therapy and assessment for Autistic children. We also work routinely with children who have other diagnoses, such as global developmental delay, intellectual delay and speech delays, all across Sydney.

We listen first, then teach the skills that matter

Before we plan anything, we listen. We get to know your child and the goals that matter to your family, then build around them, not around a template.

We start with the must have skills, the non negotiables that make everyday life more independent and safe.

  • An effective way to communicate.

  • Tolerating hearing no.

  • Health and safety basics such as getting nails cut and teeth brushed.

  • Following simple safety instructions. Having something that brings genuine joy.

Once those foundations are in place, we build the nice to have skills on top. We aim for the minimum effective dose, the right amount of therapy delivered where it works best, with clear goals, rather than open ended intervention that stretches on.

Built around your child, not a template

ABA is a disciplined and well researched system, and it is never one size fits all. We look for the relationships between your child’s behaviours and their environment, then grow the skills that lead to a fuller quality of life.

Skills that matter

We focus on the abilities that open up your child's world. Communication, language, play, social connection and self care.

Individualised goals

Therapy is shaped around your child, your family and the goals we agree on together, then reviewed as your child grows.

Support for behaviours of concern

For dangerous, aggressive or self injurious behaviour, we work together to understand why it occurs and which replacement skills to teach.

A genuine team approach

We collaborate with your speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers and educators so your child has one consistent plan.

The ABA Journey With us

2

Initial intensive

5

Discharge and graduation

When your child is using their skills across settings without prompts, we celebrate and recommend discharge, ready for school, community and everything ahead.

Not sure ABA is the right fit?

If you need support with dangerous behaviours only, or want a shorter term option, our Behaviour Management Consultation may suit your family better.
